Nestled on the banks of the Columbia River in southwest Washington, the Port of Kalama boasts a mile of riverfront playground, beaches, public parks and marina, a vibrant community of antiques, shops and restaurants, and a rich small-town culture. As a key player in the Kalama community, the Port is committed to enhancing public recreational opportunities.

Westin Amphitheater
Dedicated to its longest acting commissioner, Milford Westin, the Port’s Westin Amphitheater debuted in 2019 and has been delighting visitors to the Port of Kalama ever since.

Marine Park is a five-acre day-use park along the Columbia River bordered by scenic walking and bicycle pathways. Public beaches accessed through this greenbelt are a favorite for recreation, windsurfing, and fishing.

Facing the beachfront, McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge offers 3-star accommodation in Kalama and features a garden, terrace and restaurant.

Nestled between picturesque parks and the awe-inspiring Columbia River, Mountain Timber Market is more than a marketplace—it’s a community gathering spot. Whether you’re here to shop at our curated boutiques, enjoy a meal from local food trucks, or take in the arts, we offer something for everyone.

The Port wrapped up a multi-year, multi-million dollar renovation of its marina in 2021. The expanded facility includes over 700 feet of public guest dock space. Users will also enjoy a free public boat launch, a marine vessel fueling station, potable water and a sewer/porta potty clean-out station between boathouses C & D. Electricity and water are available at permanent moorage slips and at the south guest dock. The east guest dock provides electricity only, no water.
